Juan les Pins
Located between Cannes and Nice on the côte d’azur, and just 14km from the international of Nice airport, Juan les Pins is mostly renowned for being a party spot of the French Riviera. Famous for its Casino, bars and sandy beaches, it is very prized by the international jet set.
It is also a place where on can find small seasonal inlets along the sandy beaches open until late at night. The main feature of the city center is La Pinède, a pine tree park perfect for late night strolls after a drink in one of the numerous and trendy bars circling La Pinède. Once a year, it hosts the world famous Jazz Festival (Jazz à Juan) within La Pinède and stages the best jazz musicians. Al Jarreau, B B King, Fats Waller, Dee Dee Bridgewater, Ray Charles amongst many others have made a performance at the jazz festival. One can find ceramic tiles laid into the pavements with more than 50 hand prints of jazz musicians who have performed here.
