The region of Provence spans from the Italian boarder in the East, to the Vaucluse region in the West. Provence is famous for many aspects of its culture, notably lavender, olive oil, and wine. It has inspired many painters such as Monet and Van Gogh, and writers as prominent as Marcel Pagnol and F. Scott Fitzgerald.

The Var area of Provence is where you can find vast properties. Fayence, Draguignan, Le Muy, Le Thoronet all  offer the authenticity that certain people search for when they want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the coastal towns and cities. Tranquility and preserved are adjectives that can be used to describe the rea.

In the Alpes Maritimes area, we can mention places such as Mougins, Valbonne, Cabris, Grasse, St Paul de Vence, Biot, and Tourettes sur Loup as places to be seen. Each has its medieval village with cobbled stones and charm that one can imagine when contemplating paintings of the region in the many art galleries. These towns have become highly sought after residential areas for both year long and secondary residences.
