Villefranche sur mer, just after Nice appears like a surprise as it contrasts with the wideness of Nice. Villefranche is a small town  deeply settled into the mountain side and giving onto the most beautiful anchorage spot on the Cote d’Azur, the magnificent ‘baie de Villefranche’. At night time the ships lights so near to the shore and on the eastern side the lights of St Jean cap ferrat offer an enchanting view.

The town is like stratified on different levels, the old town lays on the sea side with its port and further up you go through winding roads you reach the residential neighborhoods dotted with a luxurious vegetation as nature has kept its place in villefranche, it has retained a character of the past in a pleasant and restful way.
